NEWS: Marillion return to Belfast for April show

ROCK monsters Marillion return to Belfast for an Ulster Hall date on Sunday, April 8th as part of an extensive UK and Ireland tour, that sees many shows already sold out.

Our love of Marillion goes back to before they released their début album, and includes memorable nights such as their Maysfield Leisure Centre, Belfast and a stunning set at the inaugural Ramblin' Man Fair.

And, our very own Diamond Rock Club man, Derwin McFarland is perhaps one of these isles most devoted fans...

Steve Hogarth said: "I have been part of this band now for 27 years yet we’re as inspired as we ever were and still enjoying creating together.

"Luckily our music has remained free to evolve and change without the constraints of a corporate music business which otherwise might have killed us”.

He continues, “We’re really looking forward to this little outing, especially as we’re playing a few places we haven’t visited for a while.  It’s long overdue!”

With 40 years plying the boards Marillion always deliver, and with their most recent album, F E A R (Fuck Everyone and Run), charting high and earning the sort of reviews so-called fashionable acts would sell their granny for. That's what you get for sticking by your principles and retaining musical integrity.

Tickets go on sale this Friday.
